Crown Seal
Crown seals are the closures used on beer bottles. They form a very tight seal, and the wine is protected by an inert plastic ring that forms the seal. French Champagne producers have been using the crown seal for years to age their wines, and only replace these with a traditional cork when they disgorge the wine in preparation for sale. Crown seals are excellent closures because
