The Wine And Food Society of Western Australia - AGM

Lamont's Restaurant - Cottesloe

The society hosted their 2011 AGM at Lamont's this year and we had a magical evening. As always, the food was excellent and the service attentive.

As this was the AGM, I tried to make the wines memorable and, by all accounts, I succeeded. The highlights for me were the Penfolds Bin 920 and the Louis Jardot Corton Charlemagne which was very kindly donated by John Jens from Lamont's.

Also a highlight was the 1970 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. This wine was donated to the society by Michael Tamburi from La Vigna.
