Clarkes of North Beach

16 August 2011

Can you have too much of a good thing? Not usually, but when it came to the wines that Miles (our Cellar Master) selected for this month's tasting, even I was struggling to appreciate the last pair of reds (wines 12 and 13 for the night). The selection on offer was outstanding, but it was hard to finish on a pair of powerful cabernets after the dessert wines.

Overall, we had a memorable night of fine food and wine that was shared with a lovely group of people. We did make a rather significant loss on the night, so may need to review our budget prior to the next budget.
